Or Bamidbar Chabad – East is part of an international organization on the front lines of Jewish education. Chabad provides care, inspiration, hospitality and knowledge to people from all walks of life.

Under the guidance of the Chabad Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson the organization has made “Ahavat Israel” – Love of a fellow Jew – the driving force that gives it momentum.  Acceptance of every Jew on their own level, regardless of their background, observance, age or financial status, has become the trademark of Chabad.

This past year was indeed a very exciting year for us. Participation in all activities increased to unprecedented numbers. Over two thousand Jews from across the entire spectrum of Jewish observance have been touched by one or more of our many programs.

Our objective is to inspire every Jew to find more joy and meaning in their own personal observance of Judaism, in their personal connection to their Jewish heritage. Watch the excitement on the faces of children who partake in in our youth programs, ask the hundreds who participate in our events, and you begin to feel an incredible sense of community.

We are thankful for what we have been able to accomplish in the community. However, along with success comes new and greater responsibilities and obligations. More people know of us, depend on us, and need us. For our work to continue with the strength and effort that is necessary, we need your help, and so do many who must still rekindle their Judaism. Your support is vital! Please, become our partner in the beautiful Mitzva of reaching out to our youth, singles, families, hospital patients, senior citizens, unaffiliated Jews, those on the brink of assimilation, and our children – our future.

As we are supported only by local individual contributions, it is your kind and generous support which allows us to continue our work in strengthening Jewish identity, pride and awareness. Please open your heart and send your generous tax-deductible contribution. Remember, by helping Or Bamidbar Chabad – East, you are helping your community.

Together we can accomplish great things!

May the Almighty grant you and your family a healthy, happy, and sweet New Year, and may you be inscribed in the Book of Life, Peace and Prosperity.

May we all merit to greet our righteous Mashiach, speedily, Amen!
